Smith’s Poly-WB+ is a two-part, water-based aliphatic polyurethane topcoat for decorative concrete and compatible resinous floors, including residential garage systems. Use it indoors or outdoors where a clear, UV-stable wear layer is needed. Select Gloss for greater reflection or Low Sheen for reduced reflection. Both are offered here as clear 1-gallon kits.
Which product should I choose?
Choose Poly-WB+ for the final polyurethane wear coat. For a ready-to-use decorative sealer, consider Poly-SEAL+. On bare concrete, Poly-WB+ requires an approved primer; Poly-SEAL+ Gloss is one option for interior/exterior systems with up to moderate traffic. Check the full system specification for heavier traffic. Over Smith’s stains, Poly-WB+ can enhance color; confirm appearance with a sample.

- Gloss: 320–400 sq. ft. on smooth surfaces; 250–320 sq. ft. on textured surfaces.
- Low Sheen: 460–530 sq. ft. on smooth surfaces; 320–400 sq. ft. on textured surfaces.
Actual coverage depends on the surface and how much it absorbs. Apply thin, even coats and follow the product data sheet.

Timing depends on conditions and film build; the Gloss chart uses 3 mils wet film, Low Sheen 4 mils. Sand to degloss after the 24-hour recoat window.
Preparation, mixing and limitations
Start with sound, clean concrete or an approved coating system. Remove adhesion-blocking contamination and follow the primer’s preparation and moisture-testing requirements. Mix 3 parts A to 1 part B by volume; apply by roller without puddles. Maintain 60–86°F and 25–80% ambient humidity as directed in the data sheet.
A clear UV-stable topcoat does not prevent underlying epoxy from yellowing. Review finish-specific chemical resistance before choosing; resistance is not universal. Follow slip-resistance and safety guidance for the intended environment.
